Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and TINYLabs, Singapore (“TINYLabs”, “we”, “us”) for your use of Titan. Please read them together with the Titan Privacy Policy.

Titan runs on your TINYLabs account, so the TINYLabs Terms also apply. Where the two differ, these terms apply to Titan.

TL;DR

This summary is for convenience only. It is not part of these terms, and the sections below are what apply.

• Titan helps you understand your own spending. It is not a bank and does not give financial advice.
• What Titan shows can be wrong or out of date. Your bank’s statement and your card issuer’s terms are the record that counts.
• Your data stays yours. You can ask for a copy or close your account.
• Prestige renews until you cancel. A charge is refunded if you ask within 14 days and have not used Prestige since it.
• Our liability to you is limited, as set out in sections 14 and 15. Singapore law applies.

1. Agreeing to these terms

• By requesting an invitation, creating an account or using Titan, you agree to these terms and confirm that you meet the requirements in section 3.
• If you do not agree, do not use Titan.

2. What Titan is, and is not

• Titan organises the charges, subscriptions and cards you give it, flags items that may be worth a second look, and shows how your cards’ published terms may apply to your spending.
• Titan is not a bank, a payment service or a card issuer. It does not hold, move or have access to your money, and does not ask for your bank login.
• TINYLabs is not licensed or regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and is not a financial adviser.
• Everything Titan shows is general information only. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal or other professional advice, it is not a recommendation to take or not take any action, and it does not take your personal circumstances into account.
• You alone are responsible for decisions about your money, including which card you use, what you pay and when, and whether you dispute a charge. Using Titan does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship between you and TINYLabs.
• Titan is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any bank or card issuer. Their names and product names belong to them and are used only to identify their products.

3. Who can use Titan

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
• Titan is offered to people living in Singapore, for personal and household use only.
• Titan is opening by invitation. Requesting an invitation does not guarantee one. We may open, limit or withdraw access at our discretion.

4. Your account

• You sign in with your TINYLabs account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details, your devices and any linked Telegram account secure.
• Anyone who can open your Telegram can log entries to your Titan. Disconnect Telegram in Titan if you lose your phone.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account, including through a linked Telegram account, until you tell us at privacy@gotinylabs.com that it has been compromised.
• The information you give us must be accurate, and you must keep it up to date.

5. Your data and what you upload

• You own the statements, entries, notes and other content you put into Titan.
• You give TINYLabs permission to store and process that content in order to provide, secure and maintain Titan, as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission ends when the content is deleted.
• You confirm that you have the right to provide everything you put into Titan, including statements and any details about other people, and that doing so breaks no law and no one else’s rights.
• You are responsible for the content you provide and for its accuracy. A CSV file is saved as you give it; remove anything you do not want kept before importing it.
• Titan is not a backup service. Keep your own copies of anything you need, including your original statements.

6. Accuracy

Your statements and entries

• Titan reads statements and messages automatically, and automated reading can be wrong. A charge may be misread, miscategorised, duplicated or missed, even where Titan has checked a statement against the bank’s printed total.
• Titan is not an official record of your account with any bank or card issuer. If Titan and your statement differ, your statement prevails.
• Flags such as “possible duplicate” or “abroad, check” are prompts to look. They are not findings that a charge is wrong, and the absence of a flag does not mean a charge is correct.

Card terms, rewards and fees

• Titan’s card information is compiled from issuers’ published pages and may be incomplete or out of date. Issuers change their terms, exclusions and promotions, sometimes without notice.
• We make no representation or warranty that any card information, calculation or suggestion in Titan is accurate, complete or current, or that you will receive any reward, rebate, waiver or saving it describes. Your issuer’s terms decide.

Reminders and alerts

• Reminders and alerts are a convenience. They may be late, wrong or not arrive at all, including because of Telegram or your device.
• Paying your bills on time, in full and from the right account remains your responsibility.

You must check anything that matters against your statement and your issuer’s terms before you act on it.

7. AI features

• Titan asks before an AI model reads a chat message or receipt photo. The Privacy Policy explains what is sent and to whom.
• AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or invented. You are responsible for checking entries it creates and for correcting or deleting any that are wrong.

8. Membership, billing and refunds

• Before billing opens. Prestige is not yet charged for. Nothing is charged until billing opens and you have given your payment details and agreement.
• What you pay. The full price, including any tax that applies, and the fact that it renews, are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider under its own terms.
• Renewal. Prestige renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in effect, until you cancel. We will send a reminder to your account email before a yearly membership renews.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
• Refunds. We will refund a charge in full if you ask within 14 days of that charge and you have not used any Prestige feature since it, as shown by Titan’s records. Write to privacy@gotinylabs.com from your account’s email address.
• Otherwise, charges are not refundable and we do not refund part of a period, except where the law requires it.
• Price changes. We may change prices. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice, and a new price applies from your next renewal. If you do not accept it, cancel before that renewal.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may suspend or end Prestige.

9. Early access and changes to Titan

• Titan is new. Features may be previews, and may change, be limited, pause or be withdrawn at any time.
• We may change, suspend or stop any part of Titan, and we do not promise that Titan will be available at any particular time. We will try to give reasonable notice of a change that materially reduces what you pay for.

10. Using Titan fairly

You must not:

• try to reach another person’s data, or get around Titan’s security or limits;
• overload Titan, or access it with automated tools other than the ones we provide;
• copy, scrape, resell or republish Titan or its card library, or use it to build a competing product;
• reverse engineer Titan, except where the law allows it despite this term;
• use Titan to break the law, or to track anyone’s spending without their knowledge;
• upload anything harmful or unlawful, such as malware.

11. Ownership

• TINYLabs and its licensors own Titan: its software, design, statement reader, card library and name. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use Titan, and nothing more.
• If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely and without payment.

12. Other companies’ services

• Parts of Titan depend on services run by others, including Telegram, outside sign-in services, our hosting and database providers and, once billing opens, our payment provider. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms.
• We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, their acts or omissions, or how they handle what you give them directly.

13. Suspension and ending

• You can stop using Titan at any time, and can ask us to close your account by writing to privacy@gotinylabs.com. We will close it and delete your data within 30 business days, as described in the Privacy Policy. Ask for a copy first if you want one.
• We may suspend or close your account, with or without notice, if you break these terms, if we reasonably believe your account puts Titan or others at risk, or if the law requires it.
• We may stop offering Titan altogether. If we do, we will give reasonable notice where we can, so that you can ask for a copy of your data.
• If we close your account or stop offering Titan for a reason other than your breach of these terms, we will refund the unused part of any period you have paid for. That refund is your only remedy for the closure.
• Sections 2, 5, 6, 11 and 14 to 19 continue to apply after this agreement ends.

14. No warranties

• Titan is provided “as is” and “as available”. You use it at your own risk.
• To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations, whether express, implied or statutory, including any as to satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability and non-infringement.
• We do not warrant that Titan will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that any figure, flag, reminder or suggestion will be correct, or that your data will not be lost.

15. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

• We are not liable for any loss arising from (a) decisions you make, or do not make, using Titan; (b) interest, late fees, annual fees, lost rewards, missed payments or disputed charges; (c) errors or omissions in reading a statement, message or receipt; (d) card information that is inaccurate or out of date; (e) reminders or alerts that are late, wrong or not delivered; (f) the acts or omissions of your bank, card issuer, messaging app or any other third party; or (g) unauthorised access to your account that results from your failure to keep it secure.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, savings, data, goodwill or opportunity, however caused and even if we were told it was possible.
• We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages of third-party services and networks.
• Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to Titan or these terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid for Titan in the 12 months before the claim arose, and (b) S$100.
• You must bring any claim within 12 months of the date you first could have known about it. After that, the claim is barred.
• These limits also protect TINYLabs’ owners, staff and contractors.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Singapore law. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived, including under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003. Where a limit is subject to a test of reasonableness under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, it applies to the fullest extent that it is reasonable.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify TINYLabs, and its owners, staff and contractors, against any claim, loss, liability and reasonable cost (including legal costs) arising from content you provided without the right to do so, from your breach of these terms or of the law, or from your misuse of Titan.

17. Changes to these terms

• We may change these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
• For a material change, we will tell you by email or in Titan before it takes effect.
• Continuing to use Titan after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using Titan and ask us to close your account.

18. Law and disputes

• These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to them or to Titan, are governed by the laws of Singapore.
• Before starting any proceedings, you agree to write to privacy@gotinylabs.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve the matter.
• The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not prevent a claim that qualifies from being brought in the Small Claims Tribunals of Singapore.
• A person who is not a party to these terms has no right to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001.

19. General

• These terms, the Privacy Policy and the TINYLabs Terms are the entire agreement between you and TINYLabs about Titan, and replace anything said or written before. You have not relied on any statement that is not in them.
• If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, it is to be read down as far as necessary and the rest continues to apply.
• A delay or failure by us to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.
• You may not transfer your account or your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours, including as part of a reorganisation or sale of TINYLabs.
• We may give you notice by email to the address on your account or by a message in Titan. Notice is treated as received when sent.
