Talk to Titan on Telegram

Log spending and subscriptions by messaging the Titan bot. Everything it understands is below. It reads your words with rules, not guesses: when it isn't sure, it asks.

Log spending

Type what you spent, the way you’d text it. The amount always comes from what you typed.

grab 12.40
Grab · S$12.40 · Transport · today
coffee 5.5 yesterday
Coffee · S$5.50 · Food & Drink · yesterday
lunch 32 usd
Lunch · US$32
s$8.50 kopi
Currency before the amount works too
work lunch 45
Marked as business
lunch 12 food
A category word files it there
the thing 40
Saved, then Titan asks which category — and remembers your answer
spent 40 on groceries
Sentences work too — “i paid 30 for lunch”, “bought shoes for 80”
taxi about 18
Filler words are ignored: only, just, about, around
laptop 1.2k
k for thousands
starbuks 7
A small typo in a shop you’ve used still finds its category

Business words

  • biz
  • business
  • work
  • company

Several at once

One per line, or a comma and a space between them. You get one reply, with Category and Undo for each.

grab 12, kopi 4.5, lunch 11
Three expenses
grab 12 kopi 4.5
One per line works the same
1,250 laptop
Still one expense — no space after the comma

When it happened

Leave the date out and it’s today. Dates are read day first, the Singapore way.

taxi 18 yesterday
Yesterday — also yday, ytd, yest, last night
parking 3 2 days ago
Any number of days back
dinner 120 fri
The most recent Friday; “last fri” goes back a week
taxi 18 on 3 sep
Also “sep 3” and “3rd sep”
petrol 80 12/9
12 September
cake 30 2026-09-03

Paid with

Name the card and Titan records it — by its bank, network, name or last digits, as they are on your Cards page. When your statement arrives, an entry only matches that bank’s statement.

grab 12.40 amex
By network
lunch 32 on dbs altitude
By bank and name — “on”, “with” and “paid with” are optional
taxi 18 ••0323
By the last digits
coffee 5 dbs
Two DBS cards? Titan asks which. Or tap Card on any reply.

Notes, who for, and split bills

Add who it was with or for at the end, or a note. Split a bill and only your share counts as your spending — Titan keeps track of the rest as owed to you.

lunch 45 with sam
Note: with Sam
gift 50 for mum
For: Mum
dinner 120 note: team offsite
Any note — or put it in quotes
dinner 120 split 3
Your S$40 counts as spending; S$80 is owed to you
dinner 120 split with sam and jo
Sam and Jo owe S$40 each
pizza 60 split
Titan asks how many people
who owes me
Everyone who owes you, and for what
sam paid 40
Settles Sam’s oldest first; “sam paid” settles everything
sam paid only 30
Part-paid: Sam still owes the rest. Every settle-up has Undo.
do I owe anyone
Titan tracks what others owe you — it says so honestly

Receipt photos

Send a photo of a receipt and Titan reads the shop, total, currency, date and items. Reading a photo takes AI, so Titan asks before sending it, and it costs Hub credits — charged only when a total is actually read.

📷 A photo of a receipt
Saved like any expense, with the same buttons · 1 credit
📷 with a caption: amex split 3
A caption works like the rest of a message — card, split, for, note
Pick items → Add as own entries
The items you tick become their own entries; the receipt keeps the rest, so your spending still adds up
Pick items → Not mine
Takes the items you tick off your spending. Tap ✕ to put one back.
Out of credits?
Titan says so and links you to top up. Typing is always free.

Asking before AI

Titan reads what you type with its own rules. A receipt photo needs an AI reader (Claude, by Anthropic) — and so can a message the rules can’t read, where AI reading is switched on. Titan asks you first — every time, unless you choose Always allow — and sends only that one message or photo: never your history, cards or statements.

Yes, this once
Sends that one message or photo. Titan asks again next time.
Always allow
Titan stops asking. Change it back whenever you like with /ai.
No
Nothing is sent. Titan’s own rules do what they can — for a photo, type the amount and the shop instead.
/ai
Shows your setting, and switches between “Ask me each time” and “Always allow”

Categories

These words place an expense automatically. Bill words (water, phone, power…) only count when they’re the whole name, so “water bottle” asks instead of filing under Utilities. Anything else, Titan asks once and learns.
